Rich Push Notifications for Android and iOS

Rich Push notifications

We’ve got a new tasty treat baked by our software artisans (engineers) to what your marketing and mobile engagement appetite.

To start sending Rich Push Notifications, you’ll need to update your SDKs to support Rich Push Notifications on both iOS and Android.

A picture is worth a thousand words

For iOS 10+ and Android 4.1+, we’ve made Rich Push Notifications available for your marketing teams to send out Rich Push Campaigns to further engage and ultimately build a deeper relationship with your users through images in your push notification campaigns.

With images embedded in your push notifications, you can convey more information and achieve better open rates for the most important messages you want to deliver and stand out from the notification noise.

Supercharge your push campaigns⚡

With the release of Rich Push Notifications, you can use Taplytics’ notifications in 4 ways:

  • Static marketing push notifications for upcoming promotions, announcements etc.
  • Automated Campaigns that are only triggered by what users do within your app.
  • A/B test your Rich Push Notifications to see which images and copy get better open or engagement rates.
  • If you’re more technically inclined and want to send them out programmatically, you can also trigger Rich Push Notifications through our REST API.

How it works

As you can see above, just enter the text for your Rich Push Notification and choose your image! At this moment, only jpg or png file formats are supported (sorry no support for gif yet!) with a max file size of 10 mb. The only thing that you need to do is crop your image to your liking. We even support emojis in your push notifications.

Check out our docs for iOS, Android or our REST API for more info. Give Rich Push Notifications a try and let us know what you think! If you’re on an older version of our SDK, you’ll have to update them accordingly to take advantage of this powerful new feature!
