Today's feature spotlight is focussing on our Shake Menu. This feature is one of those little pieces that we put in to delight our users and it has turned into a necessary tool for many. One of the biggest problems of A/B testing is really understanding what the experience is that your users will be getting on their live devices. Other platforms make you rebuild your app and hope that you get placed in the experiment with the variation that you are looking for. We take away all of that hassle with the Shake Menu.
By shaking your iPhone while running a development build of your app, our menu pops up. From that menu you can choose to view any experiment or any variation that you have running or that you currently have as a draft. This means that you can switch back and forth between experiments and variations in seconds, getting a complete picture of exactly what your users will see with your experiments.
You can also navigate through your app, testing goal completions. This takes away all of the guesswork and allows you to easily check whether the custom code-based goals you created are instrumented correctly.
The Shake Menu is just one of the many ways that we are trying to make your life easier while letting you create powerful A/B tests for your mobile app. If you have any questions about how best to take advantage of the Shake Menu or any other feature feel free to reach out to me directly at email@example.com.
